Yes -- This is local news where I live. Since she lived so close to the bay and was therefore most likely familiar with the bay's dynamics and the extreme danger associated with this time of the year, we are all perplexed why she went out in the first place -- and in a canoe without life vests to boot! Very sad for the family!
