From an article in The Guardian. (I am not linking to the article because I do not want to open up a whole new debate about the Swedish experiment. Please, just smile at the story and let it rest.)

The university town of Lund in Sweden is to dump a tonne of chicken manure in its central park in a bid to deter up to 30,000 residents from gathering there for traditional celebrations to mark Walpurgis Night on Thursday.
“Lund could very well become an epicentre for the spread of the coronavirus on the last night in April, [so] I think it was a good initiative,” the chairman of the local council’s environment committee, Gustav Lundblad, told the Sydsvenskan newspaper.
“We get the opportunity to fertilise the lawns, and at the same time it will stink and so it may not be so nice to sit and drink beer in the park,” Lundblad said, adding that the only potential drawback was that the smell may not be confined to the park.

Yep, that should do the trick. (There are 7 chicken farms nearby. When the wind is just right ... ugh!)

When you dump that manure. You will have Creative a new visitor to the park. Flies by the thousands .

When we moved to the country years ago . Our neighbor was a farmer and he had a chicken farm. Thousands & thousands of chickens. When the wind blew in our directions . His chicken flies declared war on us. They were everywhere, you could not come out of the house, if you left your automobile outside or if you wash cloths. They were brown spots everywhere. The smell was like ? The problem was identify as unsanitary health conditions. He was not disposing the manure in accordance with the state health policies. He was forced to clean up his chicken business.

Seems Sweden is restricting their residents but in a creative way.
