There is a big different from flying in a commercial plane to a military fighter jet.
Especially when a passenger have never experienced G force gravity IMHO.

This 64 man is lucky to be alive. IMO.

Ah, the surprise gift! Too bad it wasn't something that he actually wanted. Good story though. He will be telling this for the rest of his life, as will his employees.

An aside, for some reason it made me chuckle that this was on the CNN Travel page. Not sure what it had to do with travel, but I guess if you really stretch, it's kind of a travel story?

Sounds strange to me. I don’t know what ejection seat was in the plane but the ones I flown in take some really deliberate action to pull the handle(s) or face curtain. Never heard of a “button”. But CNN reporters are notoriously ignorant about aviation.

More accurate report that actually explains what really happened.

Cheers

It's just another form of social distancing.

Sounds like this guy reached under the front of his seat and pulled tight on the first thing he felt -- which unfortunately happened to be the ejection handles. Sounds like the French Air Force didn't do their part in providing the necessary basics for a civilian to ride safely in a warplane. Thank God this guy wasn't maimed or killed in the ejection.
