Thinking of buying resale but struggling to find the benefit of owning 10K credits over 7K if I can just "rent" points as needed from other members at 7.5 cents. My understanding is that both contracts come with 1 HK token and 1 GC.

Typically it will be just 2 of us traveling so a studio or 1 bedroom will suffice. Only an occasional 2 bedroom will be needed. I am driving distance to several locations in Southern and Central CA. In addition, I have relatives in Indio, near Windsor, and in Washington. I imagine I would be doing a lot of Inventory Specials and Monday Madness just to visit family.

Any input greatly appreciated!

A 7000 credit Worldmark membership is a decent product. We use a few accounts with one of them being our first, a 6000 credit account, used mostly for bonus time and every other year for reservations. We live in Washington so bonus time is easy.

I have a 7000 pt. account and have found that Inventory Specials and Monday Madness make up enough bookings that I rarely need to use my points. 7000 points is also the perfect amount to deposit into Interval for a 3BR low-season unit if you want to exchange for something else. I have not rented in points, but it is nice to have as an option.
