We have the gray and blue card, I don't think it's the Brilliant Bonvoy Amex. I saw Points Guy's article and it said the Brilliant card gets 6X .

This is great! We’ve used it 3 times already since yesterday! Dont think we will reach the $5,000 but it’s still a good deal better than 2x points!

This is getting *crazy*. Normally, I use my Hilton Amex Surpass for 6x points on Groceries (and Gas) - worth about 3.6 cents.
A few days ago I switched over to using my Marriott Amex for Groceries to get it's 6x points until July 31st - worth about 4.8 cents.
But today Chase announced 5x points for Groceries on the CSR until June 30th (or $1500) - worth about 10 cents.

Meanwhile, I'm currently using Discover for Gas since it's a 5% cash back category through Jun 30th (or $1500)...not that I'm going to hit the cash limit during the current unpleasantness.

So I guess this applies to the membership clubs, Target, CVS, Walgreens, as well?

Depends if they are considered "Grocery Stores".

Seven Eleven does sell groceries, but it is commonly referred to as a "Convenient Store".

The true answer may actually lie in the fine print.

The best part? Superstores like Target and Walmart are generally ineligible for grocery store category bonuses, but Chase is considering both as eligible purchases so long as they have grocery sections. So your standard Target that doesn’t sell any groceries won’t apply, but all Walmarts and Targets that do have that grocery section will be included. And since grocery delivery services are included, you can also utilize a service like Instacart to still earn the grocery bonus from other stores that may not typically fall into the category.

This is from the points guy.
