This week the Beach Bum was in San Diego. While I could have enjoyed going to the world renowned San Diego Zoo or The San Diego Aquarium, I decided on a few lessor known places. I decide to go to Old Town and the Museums near Balboa park. I went to the Air and Space museum because I love it and I think everyone should go (I am a Spacex fan too).... But I could have gone to the Automotive history museum, several art museums, several gardens, etc... All within walking distance. I am going to spend a week in San Diego at another time and just go to the museums. Maybe not as good as Washington DC, but definitely a good choice.

Enjoy the short video review and sample of just a few things San Diego has to offer.

We were in San Diego a few years ago. Loved Old Town and Balboa Park. If I remember right the Queen Mary wasn't too far away either. Didn't get there though. The San Diego Zoo has 2 locations. One in the city and another out by Escondido that's safari style. We enjoyed the one outside the city. Also enjoyed a trip to wine country too.

You were extremely busy visitors in San Diego. I find that visiting San Diego doesn’t get old. This was my second trip to the air and space museum and I enjoyed it as much the second time.
