Apple has come clean and admitted there is an issue with iOS 5 and the battery life of the iPhone.

PCMag has tested it in the Lab and found the effect to be pretty minimal, at least when you are stationary. A fix is promised in the next few weeks, but you don't have to sit on your hands and do nothing. PCMag's Jamie Lendino has some tips for how to get the most out of your iPhone's battery right now.
