If I choose the 5 Elite Nights will the nights apply to my 2020 accrual? Just want to clarify that since it's my 2019 choice it will not add to my 2019 accrual where it would not make any difference to my level.

No, they apply to the year you earned the choice. So it'll be 2019.

That's what I thought I remembered - thanks for the quick response. I haven't been able to use the SNA so I thought I might opt for it. I guess it would still add to lifetime nights...

Yes, it does add to lifetime nights. It is primarily a benefit for someone who will be five nights or less from Titanium or Ambassador and needs those extra few nights.
