Is this a thing or is it a ghost? I have an exchange but I certainly don't want to schlep all the way to the UK to find that it really isn't supposed to be an exchange.

It's a unicorn for sure, but I suppose it's always possible to see a unicorn. You have a confirmed exchange into 47 Park? If so, buy a lottery ticket. If you have a confirmed exchange, it should be good to travel. If you're just hoping to get one, I wouldn't count on it.

I looked it up too. If you have an II confirmation I would call the resort to also confirm the reservation, but it is one of Marriott's rental properties. Unicorn indeed but please report back! (What time of year is your exchange for?)

Lucky!

Jealous, please report back!

It is for this month. I was iffy but we will go now that I’ve confirmed that it is not a mirage. lol I’ll report back with the details. I put in a request never really thinking that it would happen. A 1 bedroom at MGV caught it in March.

What is the II code for the resort?
I believe it it was MFA. But I'm not seeing it on II's site anymore, and I think it's been quite a while since I have. I don't even see London anymore as an option from the UK areas available under the resort directory.

I stayed there 21 years ago in a 2 bedroom. We loved it! I'm sure it's still incredible.

I happened to see some weeks sitting online with II, both a l bedroom and a 2 bedroom two weeks in a row. I grabbed a 2 bedroom and another TUGger grabbed the other 2 bedroom.

Since that visit I've only seen it available a couple of times, usually just prior to Christmas. I'm really surprised that it popped up again.

Wow!

Actually there is no listings for London in the II Resort Directory and no availability using getaways

There is no availability for London, ENG, GBR. Please view the surrounding areas

They removed it from the resort directory many years ago because exchanges were so rare and they didn't really want most people thinking that exchanges were possible. While they are possible, this is the first exchange I've read about in many years.

However, Marriott continues to list the property in their marketing materials for Abound even though you can't really use Abound Club Points directly to reserve there. It is available through the "Hello Hotels" portal using Club Points, but the points requirements are very high.
