DW and I took DGD to Paris when she was 12. Stayed in the 7th, on Rue Cler. Every morning, while the girls got ready, I went down the block to a patisserie that made the most divine pains au chocolate. Brought back 2 every day (DW doesn't like sweets). DGD and I would sit out on our balcony overlooking Rue Cler while DW finished getting ready and the city came to life. Great memories.

Laughing because I share a similar story with my granddaughter. Our timeshare outside of Paris allowed pastry orders for each morning. We imbibed, to excess. Upon checking out, the desk clerk looked at our pastry total and said -- there must be a mistake. No, it was all ours.
