All,

I know that some affiliates (like Bay Club) have EOY contracts, but do any of the Purpose-Built HGVC timeshares have EOYs?

I'm thinking of blowing out my Wyndham contract -- creating an MF opportunity.....

So I'm debating a second HGVC (versus a second Starwood, versus a first Disney)....

Hmmm.....

So, back to the original question -- are there 4,800 point EOYs? I'd be happy to buy another 4,800 point annual, but I snuck the first one past the ROFR goalie (at $2,900), and I don't think it would happen again.

Thanks!

Hmmm, I don't know about 4800 but I have a 5000 EOY at I-Drive.
Are they ROFRing biennials too?

A resort search should give you a good indication which have them available: http://www.judikoz.com/Search.aspx

South Beach and the Flamingo are the only ones I see in a cursory search that aren't showing biennial units available for resale right now. That's not to say they aren't available. But they are at the other resorts that I'm looking at.

To pass ROFR on a 4800 point EOY unit, you would need to be above $4,500. You could get a 5000 point annual unit for not much more. A Bay Club EOY 4800 point unit would be much less expensive. Even a Bay Club 7000 point EOY unit would be less.

Yes, they do exist. 4800 EOY at I Drive, They are out there, you would have to look for them.

I found it through Seth Nock. I just asked and he had one.

Note, that there is an annual membership fee.

Since you pay the club dues each year with an EOY, I suppose that means you have access to the cash rates at 30 days out every year right?

Yes, you get access to Open Season reservations at all times since you are paying the annual club dues.

To pass ROFR on a 4800 point EOY unit, you would need to be above $4,500 (Not if it's an affiliate, affiliates have no ROFR)). You could get a 5000 point annual unit for not much more. A Bay Club EOY 4800 point unit would be much less expensive. (Bay Club is an affilate = No ROFR) Even a Bay Club 7000 point EOY unit would be less.(even $1)

As noted above, HGVC affiliates have no ROFR, which is why you can pick up a Bay Club for $255.

MF's are $1031 EOY for the 1BR. I also purchased a Bay Club, 2BR annual in the last 30 days for $6K, 7000 pts, MF $1250 EY. Not so sure this was good deal, OK, but not great.
