I purchased a package from ETour and Travel and have decided not to use it and it is too late to return. It is actually two packages exactly the same I am selling for $125 each. I contacted the company and they said I could transfer the packages to another person or persons.

Essentially I paid $149 dollars for 3 nights in Orlando and 3 nights in Daytona with an airbucks coupon good for $25 to $100 off airfaire for each member of your party depending on the ticket price (up to 4 people). Also, there is a $100 credit towards the purchase of theme park tickets. The package may be split in two vacations by traveling to Orlando and Daytona during seperate visits.

I paid an additional $100 dollars for a car rental for 7 days which also doubled the trip so I have two trips to sell each with all of the above amentities and the car rental.

So I paid $249 dollars for these two trips which I do not wish to use. My decision not to use the trip is because I want the VIP tickets to Universal studios and the 100 credit does not go toward those.I also really don't have the desire to go to Daytona. I also checked my united mileage plus miles and I pretty much have a free stay in Orlando for a week which I am going to use instead. I also was under the impression that I could use the second trip myself but under further review the two trips must be booked under different names not including my spouse. So it is a "give a way" trip.

Here is the link to the info on the package where you can look at the hotel choices you would have.

The packages must be booked by Dec 16, 2012 but you have an additional 6 months to travel.

I was told that I would be offered the sales presentation but would not be required to do it. However, once reading the fine print I saw that to get the $100 off for theme park tickets the presentation would be required. Those sales people are tricky aren't they!

But if you wish to not use the theme park credit no presentation is required.

No offense but this is by no means a bargain. You are trying to sell the package for the exact same amount the travel company is selling it for. This is their "buy one give one" promotion that they have been doing for a long time. This is a sales presentation company. A friend of mine did this very same package two years ago. To be honest with you it is less of a hassle for someone to just book directly with them if you aren't offering a discount. That being said it is still a decent deal for budget trip if you don't mind the sales pitch.

You can not purchase this package for $125 from etour and travel with the car rental on its own.

You would have to purchase the package for $149 plus $100 for the car rental and then have one identical trip to give away since you can not use the second trip yourself.

I am not interested in using either trips so yes I am selling them for what I paid to try to break even but I do believe the individual trip is a bargain since you could not purchase the trip for $125 with the car rental.

And if you wish you can skip the presentations but you will not get the $100 theme park credit.

I called and they said it is easy to transfer the package to another person.

And just to be clear you do not have to purchase both trips from me. I am selling them individually.

$249 / 2 = $124.50

I understand what you are saying. You are allowing someone to buy only one of the trips for half the total cost. Fair enough :)
