I haven't had Verizon as our service carrier for years. I just received a check from them for a grand total of .21c
The description says it is for "credit for Federal Univer"
To me, it seems so weird that I wonder if there is some sort of scam associated with it. However, it certainly looks official.
Any other tuggers receive this?

Twenty One Cents! I would tear it in little pieces and throw it away. Why? (1) Not likely, but could be a scam. (2) My Bank might charge me a Service Charge to deposit it. Also not likely, but for 21 cents who needs the uncertainty?

I received a $0.01 refund check from AT&T a couple of years back.

I still have it.

I would wait for it to expire and ask them to issue a new one.

Mine's for 53 cents.

I think this is a settlement from some class action suit. They should have made them contribute to an appropriate charity instead.

Or at least paid by PayPal. The idea of paying postage to deliver these amounts is sad.

I had already posted this on the medical refund thread several days ago, but I'll post it again. I got a .12 refund from Sirius XM a couple of weeks ago. They said it was left on my account from when I had cancelled. I thought it was strange that they were paying me money back from a FREE trial period.
