“The 20th installment of the Maui Film Festival will be held June 12 to 16, event organizers recently announced.

The festival hosts a range of motion pictures each year from blockbuster award winners to lesser-known independent films. The five-day event includes various events from music, hula and celebrity-studded galas, to movie screenings under the night sky with 2,000 attendees.

Each year the festival in Wailea celebrates a Hollywood star dubbed a "luminary," and past honorees include Michael B. Jordan, Viola Davis, Bryan Cranston, William Hurt, Helen Hunt and Lupita Nyong'O.

Early bird tickets are 20% to 40% off for a limited time.”
