2026 abound reservation using 2025 points?

If I convert my 2025 week to abound points can I reserve a 2026 week with them or do I need 2026 abound points. I know I could use 2025 abound points for 2024 reservations but wasn’t sure if I could use 2025 points. If I have to bank 2025 points first to 2026 can I just bank the amount I need for my 2026 reservation so keeping my remaining 2025 points flexible for 2025 reservations and still bank 2025 pts a 2nd time again remaining 2025 points for 2026 .

Or, is it better to simply bank my 2026 week (when can I do that) and then I can use for 2026 or 2025 reservations ?

Yes you can bank just enough 2025 to 2026 for your ressy, leaving your remaining 2025 points flexible.
