I thought the 2020 Oscars tonight was the "BEST" production I have witnessed in many years. I'm embarrased
that Ray "Potty-Mouth" Romano used the despicable "F-BOMB" on an International TV Show to receive limited Laughs
when this Oscar Show is WATCHED by "Millions of People" ..... especially "Families". Lots of "CLASS" Ray Romano.

Of course the shocker is the award of Best Picture to Parasite.
Parasite is a good movie and deserved the International award.
It may have even deserved Best Director, but...
The odd's on favorite before the show was 1917.

I suspect that Once Upon a Time siphoned enuff from 1917 to deny it the win.

Bluegreen Points Lodge Alley Inn.
Brewster Green (two weeks).
I thought the opening act was fabulous and then it was downhill from there.

Wasn't Eminem's rap performance laced with profanity? Or else our cable kept censoring him blindly. LOL

And if the Oscars is about movies, why was Ray Romano even there? He's a TV and Standup act. Has he even been in a movie?

I have no issue with the profanity - as a retired sailor, I know what the words are - but there's a more acceptable time and a place for such talk, and this wasn't it. On stage, just for a gratuitous laugh? I felt it was kind of a Meh moment.

He was in heavily nominated "The Irishman" this year along with multitude of Ice Age (voice of Manny) animated movies.

Ok, thanks. I haven’t seen the newer movie, and I forgot about Ice Age. My larger point was as @bnoble said, it’s kind of a minor thing to be upset about.

He's the lawyer, and is prominently featured in the trailer for The Irishman:

Probably good that Samuel L Jackson stay as far away from the Oscar telecast then.....
