Does anyone know whether Wyndham also owns the Palmera Vacation Club?

I spoke to an attorney who said he can get me out of timeshare at Palmera because he has a guaranteed settlement with Wyndham.

Does this sound legitimate?

Wyndham and Palmera are not owned by the same company. His offer does not sound legitimate even if he was offering to get you out of a Wyndham.

Being a legitimate attorney doesn't give you any special in's to cancelling a contract- timeshare or otherwise.

This is one of the law firms that have represented dozens of cases against Coral resorts (the old name of Palmera):http://lowcountrylegal.com/ I am not endorsing them in any way. I have only seen there name mentioned in the Island packet a local news source that regularly reports on legal disputes in HHI.

Unfortunately the SC AG does not get involved in timeshare disputes.

And maybe fortunately if you can not sell your timeshare and decide to quit paying your maintenance fees.
