2016 Maintenance Fees at Kauai Beach Villas

I just talked to Wyndham Financial about 2016 MF for Kauai Beach Villas. They said the bills went out in yesterday's mail (11/11/15.)

There are three room types at KBV: 1br1ba, 1br2ba, and 2br2ba. They were unable to give me the fee amounts for the other unit types, but for the 1br2ba the 2016 MF is $1223.62.

Aloha Dave,
The Pahio VIP office called me today to confirm our arrival plan in about 5 weeks. She passed along this new info:
The Aqua Kauai Beach Resort hotel next door will now be charging KBV folks $20/day to use their pools.
We used to eat often at the Naupaka Terrace Restaurant in the Aqua hotel. We won't be doing that anymore.
So it goes.

Based on the phone call, I expect it either already has started or will start by the time we arrive at KBV 12/19/15. We are at KBV three weeks this year (followed by Shearwater and 2 other RCI exchanges in Princeville). Since our third week is the first week of 2016, it is possible that the caller meant the fee would start at the beginning of 2016. If no one clarifies before we get there, I'll post an update.

Aloha Dave,
I was told the $20/day rate covered 4 people. I did not ask but when they were charging for day use years ago, my memory is that they would allow an additional 1 or 2 people for a pro-rated amount.
Given the charges to use the city pool where I swim laps, I consider $5/day/person reasonable. I do not consider it reasonable to charge two people the same rate as four. I plan to tell them but I have no expectation that they will charge less for two, so I plan to resume using our KBV pool for my lap swimming exercise when the ocean is not welcoming.

In the past - The TS traded tennis court use (at the TS) for pool use (at the hotel), which seemed like a good deal for everyone.

I wonder if hotel guests still get free tennis court use at the TS?
