Hopefully I have posted this item into the right section, as I have just discovered this great message board.

I have a few Wyndham Resort Vacation Certificates, which are good for a 7 day stay at many, many of the Wyndham resorts. You can view a full list of available resorts at: https://www.resortcerts.com/preview_resorts

These normally sell for $599.00 and I would like to get $350 from them. If anyone is interested, please message me for further info. You have until February 2013 to book/use your vacation. I will answer any questions you have.

Thank you!

I went to your link to see what might be available, and the first thing I checked was for a week in a non Wyndham resort offered for for significantly less than what you are asking. The link goes to the Endless vacations website

so I dont understand who you are or what you are selling or why I should pay a premium to you

a couple of questions that might clear things up for me...

are the certificates for specific weeks at specific resorts.or for any availability shown on your website?

are you a representative of endless vacations or did you buy these and are now reselling them?

is a purchaser obligated to attend a timeshare presentation?

Your post said Wyndham resorts..my search brings up other resorts...what gives?

@ ron

Ron,

I will answer your questions to best of my ability.. Not a travel expert.

1) THERE IS NO TIMESHARE PRESENTATION REQUIRED.

2) I HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH ENDLESS VACATIONS, I PURCHASED THESE AND WOULD LIKE TO RESELL THEM.. THE CERTS ARE NORMALLY $599 IF PURCHASED DIRECTLY.

3) THE CERTS ALLOW YOU BOOK ANY OF WEEKS LISTED ON THE SITE, THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOCATIONS AND DATES AVAILABLE, AND WYNDHAM IS AMONG THOSE LISTED, SUCH AS WYNDHAM FLAGSTAFF AND OTHERS.

I hope this answers your questions.. The only price I was able to find on the site was the $599.00 for the certificate. Where did you find different prices?

Thanks,

Rob

Wyndham

Looking at the site now, I probably shouldn't have listed them as wyndham gift certificates, because there are many other resort providers included in this offer.

Thanks You.

I edited your title to reflect the source of the coupons, but I'd like verification that your offer is Legit.

Are these certificates in your name? Are they transferable? Using what method?

Thanks for answering my questions...I was guessing that you were a Wyndham salesman...sorry for the insult

Id like to attend the Jazz festival in New Orleans May 4 2012...All the New Orleans Timeshares sold this week as an event week and they are very difficult to find. The only all points resort in town is completely booked...

Hillcrest Lake Villas about an hours drive from New Orleans and would work for me

On the site you linked to I see a week there offered at $135

Hillcrest Lake Villas is a quiet, relaxing resort just an hour's drive from New Orleans. Enjoy the lake and swimming pool or 18-hole golf course. Lake Pontchartrain is 15 miles away. Plan to spend a day in New Orleans, where you can enjoy the French Quarter. Spanning 70 blocks, the French Quarter is lined with gourmet restaurants and museums.

Denise, wow people are on top of things on this site.. Impressive..

To answer your questions, the certs have not been assigned a name yet but is was my billing information when I ordered. I talked to them today, and they said as long as the travel has not been booked (which it hasn't) they can be used by anyone (over 21 of course).

It is a certificate number that you enter when you go to book the reservation. I would send you that certificate # upon receipt of the sale.

Hope this helps.

Ron

No worries on the insult.. Just a guy trying to sell off some travel he isn't going to use.

As for the link you are talking about, I'm not seeing it.. Are we not looking in the same place? Can you post a link of where you are looking at? Thanks,

Rob

Hillcrest

Ron,

I am not seeing the same links as you, but if you can get a week at Hillcrest for $135, GO FOR IT! Good luck, enjoy the festival!

Thanks. This appears to be consistant with their site. It does ask for the cert number. I did not proceed further.

Ron - As I read it, the the reservation you referenced requires you to use the certificate PLUS pay an upgrade upgrade fee of $135 - not just $135.

Did you know you can expand your vacation options by Upgrading your Resort Vacation Certificate‡? Upgrades provide access to a wider-range of travel options. To view Upgrade options click on the Upgrade tab below.

Clarification

YAY! I'm not crazy! LOL.. I was ready to pack my bags and live in Louisana for $135 a week....

Yes, that is the "upgrade fee" in addition to the certificate. Although some resorts have an upgrade fee, the majority do not it seems.. Hope this helps.

Rob

PS: Thank You Denise for clarifying. I appreciate the help.

The OP is offering the cert for $350. Ron the upgrade fee would be in addition to the cert. You can get similar certs on skyauction. The Ready Set Go ones are bid price (usually under $50) +$299 + $20 fees. Most places don't have upgrade fees with these. Or the Home and Away specials that include certs for future purchases on the website the cert to use at resortscerts with and without the upgrade fees. These ones usually go for( $10-$20) +$249 +20.

The only problem with the skyauction certs is it may take a few days to get the certs, I think they send actual ones by mail instead of just sending you the electronic redemption number and the inventory may be gone.

Although this isn't helping my cause, there are cheaper certificates than mine here, on skyauction (which I just learned about from the above post) for $249 + $20 handling fee. The only difference is that mine are good thru Feb2013, while those expire at the end of 2012...

here is a link to that auction.

http://www.skyauction.com/action/offer/2059839

Although I would like to sell my certs, if there is a better deal out there, I would advise people to take it. I WILL BEAT THAT DEAL BY $20, IF I DO NOT SELL THESE ITEMS BY AFTER THIS WEEKEND.

Thanks,

Rob

That site also has certs for $249, and occasionally put them on sale for $199 but the inventory is spotty so check the resort preview before you buy.

http://www.resortcerts.com/perks/home

I recently bought 3 of them when they had them on sale for $199.
I've already booked a Labor day week at the beach with one of them and it would have cost me 7 TPU's plus the exchange fee for the same unit. :annoyed:

I've decided that the low TPU exchanges probably don't make sense if the inventory is on this website.

The OP probably bought them for $249 and sold them for $600. Nice little business he had going here.
