Has anyone dealt with or heard of this firm?
Even if you have to pay more in closing costs, it would be worth it to avoid dealing with Pacific Transfer. They charge $385 for closing and my guess is that they get a kickback from this Pacific Transfer firm, just like most of the Ebay sellers.

SellTimeshare.org (ebay name: SellTimeshareorg and SellTimeshareDotOrg)
has a listing I am interested in.
But, the postings here on Tug have been more negative than positive.
Has anyone had any recent experience buying from this outfit ?
They use a closing company called Pacific Transfer
I am in the middle of closing a timeshare purchase from that seller. I have no complaints about the seller - he has been very good with communication.
HOWEVER ... this seller chooses to use Pacific Transfer for his closing company. Unfortunately, that closing company has been a nightmare to deal with.

If you choose to buy from selltimeshare.org I would make it clear that you want to specify your own closing company. There are several closing companies that come highly-recommended here on tugbbs. There is no need to put up with the delays and frustrations associated with Pacific Transfer.

... I called Pacific just now. The person, again, was helpful and indicated that they would have the deed re-recorded with the correct State. I now have to call the seller to get them to make me a reservation. We'll see how that goes.
The communication was good at first with emails on status. The deed was recorded fairly quickly. At that point, I gave positive feedback. I was too hasty.
I think it's important to not give positive feedback to an Ebay seller until the resort management confirms to you over the phone that it is in your name, that all fees are paid, and you can make or change a reservation. It the transfer doesn't happen in a reasonable period of time or if things are not going well, I think you should tell the seller you're going to give negative feedback unless they get it done, and if it doesn't happen, give them negative feedback. This will do more to get the transaction done than anything else you can do. Most Ebay sellers will do almost anything to avoid negative feedback. It's amazing that bad Ebay sellers have so much positive feedback.
I thought that Yumdrey said that you could update eBay feedback? I'm not sure if it was only from neutral to positive though.
I looked it up and I don't think that you can change a positive feedback, but you can add a "follow up" message.
I'm beginning to loose enthusiasm for trying to make a purchase from this seller.....I'll see how my bidding on the auction works out and then take it from there
While my transactions with these companies were slow, I got what was promised with no complaints.... If you look back at my previous threads you will see my comments and concerns and then how it worked out... Dave
Below is the name of the guy at Selltimeshare.org that replied to a question that I sent regarding an eBay auction........Maybe complain to him that his closing company is dropping the ball?
