[2011] MOC Pricing

Anyone been tracking Maui Ocean Club pricing? I am getting pretty serious about buying. I specifically want a 2 bdrm l/o ocean view, in the original tower. I don't see anything less than about $18k right now, which seems pretty high.
Thinking I should be able to pick one up for $13k - $14k with some patience.
Thoughts?

Don't know if you're aware of it but the association there maintains its own website, arubaoceanclub.com, with a bunch of listings from owners looking to sell. I don't think you'll find the absolute lowest prices there like you might on eBay but it's a good amount of Aruba Ocean and Surf Clubs inventory to check out.

I agree $13K - $14K is realistic if you are patient. The current volume on eBay is strangely low (compared to this time of the year for the past couple of years). If / when eBay volume picks up, you will pick up your unit.

2BR units are relatively rare on eBay

There have been only two 2BR Ocean View units listed on eBay this year, but if you are patient you should be able to get your deal.

There have been only two 2BR Ocean View units listed on eBay this year, but if you are patient you should be able to get your deal.

I was the winner on the $12,222 but backed out of the deal when it became apparent this was a PCC and they weren't going to go out of their way to secure a good 2012 week. That is the problem with some of these deals, if you don't get a good first year usage that you can use the true value is more than the selling price.

That was back in September. Wonder why it wasn't relisted on ebay? Unless the seller contacted the person with the second highest bid: 2nd chance bid?

Post Card Company I believe is what it stands for. It refers to the ebay sellers that are predominantly bulk processors of sales that don't give you the right attention to detail and may be blantantly bad or corrupt. At least that my loose understanding.
