Marriott shadow Ridge/Platinum/Lock off/annual

if the best trading power weeks for these (2) marriott resorts
are Weeks #9-#13

Should I do the following on Feb 5,2009
about (13) months

should i book the Week #9/year 2010
for MSR+MDS #2

should i focus
Saturda to saturday
then sunday to sunday
theyn Friday to friday
then thursday to thursday

Should i do this about 600 AM
CST
on Feb 5,2009

any suggestions is appreciated

Are they for your use or for trading?

If for your use, take the check in that is best for you. If they are for trading, the check in day will not affect your trade power, so take what ever is available. I do not have the 2009/2010 calendar handy, so I will assume that Feb 5th is 13 months out from the Thursday check in date. That is when you should call at 9am EST.

I'm assuming from the title of this thread that you plan on reserving and then depositing the weeks.

I'm not sure what weeks you are referring to. The earliest check-in for week 9 in 2010 (which you mentioned) would be Friday, February 26. Thus, you could call one year in advance of that date, Thursday, February 26, 2009, if you plan to book only week #9. If you plan to book weeks 9 and 10 together (one at each resort), you can call 13 months in advance, Monday, January 26, 2009.

However, since you also mentioned calling on February 5, 2009, there is a possibility you plan to book weeks 10 and 11. The first possible check-in date for week 10 in 2010 is Friday, March 5. If you plan to book weeks 10 and 11 together (one at each resort), you can call 13 months in advance, Monday, February 5, 2009.

Yes, you would call at 6:00 a.m. PST.

And as mentioned above, for exchanging purposes, it makes no difference what day of the week you reserve (Fri, Sat or Sun) because II's power ratings ignore the check-in day of the week.

It appears that all weeks 9-13 having equal trading power with II. If trading is your only intention, I would do as Dave mentions above and call Marriott on January 26 and book anything that is available.

The sooner you start trying, the more chances you get to complete the premium reservations. Also, Marriott may NOT be offering AC's for those resorts that early, so consider it before you deposit.

Actually that would be II that may not be offering AC's. Marriott doesn't not provide these.
