I received a postcard today announcing the MROP 2009 annual meeting on April 25th in Salt Lake City. 4 trustee position are to be elected; resumes are due by March 5th. Any TUGers with MROP membership interested in running? It's clear from the postcard that living somewhat close to Salt Lake City is desirable; 4 board meetings are held in SLC and committees meet 4 to 6 times annually.
Is this 'proximity requirement' normal for timeshare HOAs/BODs? This might be less of a problem for a single timeshare than it is for a 'multiple location' entity like MROP.
