Never heard of them until a couple of weeks ago when another first time poster mentioned their name and some info about them, which sometimes is a red flag.
Never pay an upfront fee to anyone to sell or rent your timeshare, except nominal cost listing fees. Don't waste your money with any company that wants the money upfront. They'll take your money and you won't hear from them again.
I recommend www.myresortnetwork.com. I have rented a few weeks I own on that site and just recently sold a week. I think they charge $19.95 for a listing.
For information about selling, donating, or giving away your timeshare, please see the article posted at the top of the board - How to Sell Your Timeshare. We do not recommend paying a company a large upfront fee to rent or sell your timeshare.
Reverend Ray Lipton has been calling me to use his form to sell my timesahre at Kierland Villas, Scottsdale. He keeps pushing the fact that they have been in business for 12 years without incident but their BBB rating is a D. He explained that away because it was an unanswered complaint still pending. I would love to find just ONE of these companies that was legit! He's asking for the $500+/- up front and since we've already fallen for THAT three times, we aren't going to proceed. Just wanted to vent about the most recent "player" in the "Let's scam the Timeshare people" game.
I am going to offer Ray $5000 of my final sales proceeds if he puts up the $1200 for me. That will leave me with $23000. What does he have to lose? He can get the $1200 back if it doesn't sell because the guarantee is in writing. Heck, I will even put the $5000 deal in writing.
He would be crazy to not do this. Unless, of course, it is a scam. :hysterical:
I signed a contract exactly one year ago to have them sell my time share and they promised to refund my money if they did not do that in 180 days. I sent a certified letter requesting my refund in early June of 09 and to date I still do not have my refund.
