I recently got an unsolicited call from a man who works for Timeshare Liquidators in Boston. There's another Timeshare Liquidators in Palm Springs, but it's not the same organization. This man told me he could sell my timeshare for 25% MORE than I paid for it with NO UPFRONT FEES, and charge a commission of only 2% of the sales price, payable AFTER I receive my money from the sale. Sounds too good to be true. Do you know anything about this organization, or how this might be a rip-off for me?

Know nothing about these guys but as you said "Sounds too good to be true"

I bet they have a way to rip you off but I also don't know what it is.

You won't be charged any unfront fees BUT you'll need a market analysis, blah, blah, blah. Get the picture?

Rendering no other judgement or opinion, I can at least tell you that there is no "Timeshare Liquidators" listed in any current Boston area phone books (white pages or yellow pages). Boston would not exactly be "fertile ground" for any such operation, at least in in my opinion. Does this outfit purport to actually have a Boston area address (...I truly doubt it, personally).

This is a rip off. The same company in Boston just scammed my aunt. We are currently taking all measures to get her money back.
