Plans changed, can't use our week in Las Vegas for Christmas. Central location on the strip. Asking $800, open to offers.

Is there a chance that you would be able to change to the following week. December 27th thru January 3rd?

Available or not? Gray area ? Don't ask Don't Tell? If name change allowed should be ok. Name additions allowed? Who is in Vegas at any given day time whose business it it?

Just Curious

Agreed. It's available, I'm able to do a name change on the reservation and will send confirmation accordingly. Message me directly if you're interested.

Warning: I’ll tell you whose business it is which seems to be everyone. All exchange agencies have rules against renting exchanges or getaways. Interval International actually terminated my membership for LIFE for renting exchanges. I can never again have an Interval membership with my name on it. Termination is swift and brutal with no court of appeals. I at least got my points refunded and my exchange fees and membership fees. I know others who lost their points, exchanges, and exchange fees.

You are only allowed to rent a resort that you own the contract and it is your week.

I know folks who have been warned by RCI that they would get their accounts shut down for renting. And it did happen.

SFX no commercial use which means only for the member who exchanged for or bought the week.

Wyndham Vacation Club has a no renting policy that they started enforcing several years again. 1st a letter than a 2nd letter then cancellation of all reservations with no point refund. Guess it was 3 strikes. Other owners have had their accounts shut down locked for 60, 90, 365 days.
We actually own home resort contracts that are turned into Wyndham points. You can even rent your home resorts which is BS

I don’t know who monitors the chat rooms such as Tug and Facebook pages but someone does. This is not a theory it is a fact.

DONT EVER THINK IT CANT HAPPEN TO YOU, BECAUSE IT CAN AND IT DOES.

Thanks for the feedback and comments. I shouldn't be surprised, just another reminder of the increasing influence & control being exerted by big business on the individual.

Seeing as I can still purchase a guest certificate, do you know if RCI, Wyndham or HGVC have a rule against me giving the week away to a homeless family in the LV area who may otherwise not have a warm, comfortable place to stay over the holidays? Guess I might have to also get them a prepaid credit card to check-in. Seems like the right thing to do.

As far as your statement about big business and the individual. The exchange companies have every right it’s in their rules and regulations that you no doubt check the I agree box on. Most resorts you have the right to rent your contracted week. Believe me I’ve been punished by a couple of the systems. THEY HAVE ALL THE POWER!!

Pretty sure you’re not serious about the homeless family. Why throw more money on top of it. Donate to your local unhoused families. Doubtful the resorts are aware of what a prepaid credit card is. They also put a temporary hold on the card for the security deposit so unless you’re giving them a 500.00 prepaid credit card and even then I don’t think it would fly. Fine print in all hotels and restaurants “this establishment have the right to refuse admission” Roll the dice baxter boys if you don’t do it more than a few times per year it will slide. Besides that you’ll get a few warnings from Interval and RCI. Make certain your guest does not mention the word RENT.

Thanks. Based on the feedback received, I would not be comfortable subjecting any Tug member to the potential risk of renting this exchange week, so I've changed my plans to spend the weekend in LV myself before heading to Florida for Christmas. Wishing everyone a safe and peaceful holiday!
