2 bedroom garden view lagoon tower question

Do any of you know what floors the 2 bedroom garden view rooms are on at lagoon tower. I did a search and could not find anything.

Most are Floors 3-8 with two exceptions: 1)the corner end unit (Room 72) which is all floors (3-23) and 2) a 2BR on DH side (Room 62/63) that is only floors 3-4.

This is our first trip to hawaii and my son will be going to high school next year so we grabbed a 2bd room garden which was all that was available so I was just wondering the floor location.

I would suggest that you call a few weeks in advance and request the highest floor possible in Room 72 -- are you a Saturday check-in?

we will be a friday check in. would it be better to check in on saturday?

Saturday would be a better check-in day since the majority of individuals check-in / check-out on a Saturday. If there were more open rooms changing you would be more likely to get closer to a request. With a Friday check-in you will get what is open with little chance of a request possible. Friday is fire works night, so make sure you are to the right or left of the lagoon approximately 7:40 pm. Have a good time.

Last time, we had a 2BR Premier reserved and we check in on Friday. We were on the 5th floor. I did not love the view from the 5th floor. I asked about a room change and they moved us on Saturday morning to the 20th floor, which was spectacular.

They told me that Saturday check-ins (in a 2BR Premier) would be a much higher probability of a good room because owners have Saturday check-in/check-out -- so we will adjust accordingly.

Please be advised that room switches are not the norm. You can ask but don't be surprised if you're denied.

I'm assuming HGVC was willing to make an exception because GregT is a Lagoon Tower 2BR Premier owner. He booked the unit type that he owns but was assigned to one of the lowest floors due to availability at check-in. They tried to make it right even though his stay didn't start on the designated day for Lagoon Tower owner check-ins (where most of the check-in /check-outs occur).
