2 bed deluxe at Grand Chateau

Yes it does, but it’s not a stand alone 2 bedroom deluxe unit that can be purchased individually. Those units can only be purchased as part of the 3 bedroom unit. The thread started off because someone was looking at a 2 bedroom “deluxe” unit for sale

Yes I have verified with the Front Desk. I have pics of the villa configurations. There are no stand alone 2 bedrooms without a lock off. There are the usual 3 BR with a lock off. The 3BR when locked out becomes a 2 BR.

Give me a few minutes and I will load the photos the Front Desk was kind enough to let me snap with those codes.

The question is if the resort has a dedicated 2BR unit that is not part of a lockoff?

The Marriott website indicates that there are 3 different 2-bedroom configurations at the resort:

Standard 2-bedroom lockoff- unit code ZZAA
2-bedroom unit (part of the 3BR lockoff)- unit code THMV
2-bedroom dedicated unit- unit code TOVI

So does that last one actually exist at the resort?

So don't see a TOVI. Did not get into these codes with the Front Desk. Just asked if there was a dedicated 2-bedroom unit. Then this book appeared and he was accommodating and let me take photos.
Figured I could translate the codes after the fact.

There has been a constant flow of check-ins and check-outs since we arrived.
@jwalk03 if your heart desires I will ask again about unit code TOVI.

The entire reason I started posting photo albums and now YouTube videos is to give timeshare users a better idea of how units and timeshare resorts actually look. I was frustrated by the timeshare managements own websites, which are often inaccurate or outdated. Combined with Cliff”s Timeshare Traveler and Jeremy’s Destination Timeshare there’s a lot of actual footage of a variety of timeshare resorts

When Westgate built that timeshare, we were envious, but I wasn’t about to attend a Westgate presentation, let alone buy in. When Westgate lost the resort to Hilton it was one of the happier days we’ve had as HGVC owners. While I still love Grand Chateau, I prefer Elara if only for the fact it’s attached to PH. The two bedroom master of the four bedroom lock-off at Elara on the strip end has an absolutely spectacular master bedroom.

Thank goodness!!! Thanks for checking. I just bought a resale 2 bedroom lockoff for trading and I did not want to ever end up with a standard.

I am clueless on that section of Las Vegas timeshare history. I will have to search the archives to read up on this Westgate saga. Heck I was staring at that building for 3 days before I realized the name was Elara.

Some of the units are still owned by Westgate, trade in II as Westgate and remain within the Westgate system. It’s something of an unusual situation

After dinner the check in desk was empty so I asked. The nice lady knew exactly what I was asking.
She explained that TOVI indicates any 2 bedroom in Tower 2.

Interesting thread and thanks to all who added their input. I was the OP and I agree with the conclusion that the 2 BED “deluxe” isn’t really an accurate designation. Likely it was added to make the ad more appealing. We own a 2 BR at Grande chateau EOY. It was our initial purchase in MVC and we don’t remember any deluxe unit being offered so when I was looking at this resale offer I was confused by what it meant. We didn’t proceed with the resale.
