Hi

We are looking to buy a 2 bed corner lock off at Atlantis Harborside Phase 1. Is there floor plan for this anywhere? I can only find 1/2/3 bed units, not the corner one.

We think we have a good deal, but acknowledge that the service fees are high. We are going to sell the 1 bed prem we currently own.

Any advice/tips/thoughts?

Thank you!

See Redweek for the most current pricing. Because the MFs are so high at HRA, the purchase price is pretty low. The good news is that it's also low for the 2 bdrm resales.

There is a floor plan for the 2 bed, but not for the 2 bed one with the corner unit - sure it must exist somewhere!

Were those sold as 2-bed units or only as 3-bed with the neighboring unit? I think the corner unit is a 1-bed unit (that's what I've stayed at before).

The unit is a one bed premium adjoining a one bed corner unit - ie there are 2 balconies.

There is not a floorplan because this unit type cannot be guaranteed. These are sold and assigned the same as any other 2 bedroom unit in Phase I. You cannot be guaranteed to get this unit type.

In Phase II they reconfigured the larger 1 bedroom into a 2 bedroom - thus creating the 3 bedroom lockoff. That's going to be the closest floorplan you can compare.

Hi

The seller has confirmed room numbers which are allocated to deeded week each year. I assume that this corner lock off is guaranteed for the deeded week, but not if we try and book another week. Does that sound right? Thanks!

WKORV has these type of deeded corner units ("Deluxe"), and they carry a larger MF than the normal 2BR units, and were specifically sold as the corner units at a premium. You're only guaranteed these larger corner units if 1) you own one of those, and 2) you book from 12-8 months out. Otherwise, you could end up with any 2BR unit.

Unless it's the same at HRA (I don't see 2 different MFs for 2BR units?), I would assume that you aren't actually guaranteed that type of unit.

I know at WKORV, WPORV, and WSJ, they offer fixed week/fixed units. Not sure about HRA.

One of my Harborside week is a (deeded) corner 1BR deluxe.
There's no guarantee I will get a corner unit even if my deeded unit is a corner unit.
Corner 2BR lock-off consists of 1BR premium and 1BR deluxe, just like other 2BR L/O. Premium side is the same as others and deluxe side has a little more space and a balcony.

I'm 99% sure you are guaranteed to get your corner unit if you use your deeded week in Phase One (i.e., home resort reservation). Phase One was sold as fixed week/fixed unit. Of course, if there are maintenance issues, you would be moved to a different unit. But, barring out-of-the-ordinary circumstances, Phase One owners always get their deeded unit if they are using their deeded week. This is also true for WSJ Hillside (Phase One).

If I understand HRA Phase Two float weeks correctly, unit numbers are for inventory control purposes only; therefore no guarantee of a specific unit number when using a float week. (Incidentally, this is definitiely how WSJ Bay Vista float weeks work.)

Phase 1 is fixed week, fixed unit.

Phase 2 is week in a season, float unit.

There are no three bedrooms in phase 1. All the corner units in phase 2 are three bedrooms.

Yumdrey--I think if you own a corner unit you are supposed to get one--my week 52 is one and even though I may not get the exact one I always get one and I don't think it is just because it is a week 52. We let friends use it one time and when they checked in and found they didn't get one I called the front desk and they put them in one.
Not 100% sure about this but that is how it was explained to me and another friend who owns one.
