I have two contract for 9,000 annual Bluegreen points that I would like to get rid of.

Maint Fee is $1332 a year for $18,000 points.

Buyer to find tranfer agent. I don't know what it costs right now to transfer the points to the new owner. You can use however you like or want or I can look and find one for you.

One or both of them

Cost = Free just pay maint fees for upcoming 2012 year and transfer fees.

What resort are the points allocated too? What do you think the transfer fees will be? What trust fund are the points?

Thanks

These are Trust Fund D.

Not sure yet on the closing costs. I just decided today to give them away.

I just took over a BG package from another person. It is $250 to do the transfer and BG does it for you. You can get the transfer paperwork off the BG site, fill it out and send it back with the $250 and they send it to their closing company who does the closing paperwork and sends it back to you for notarized signature. Has taken about 6 weeks and should be complete any day.

Go to the Help/FAQs tab on the BG site, click on Mortgage and Title and under question 1 click "Title change form".

If you search for posts by BocaBum99, he'll have two links in his signature. One of those links should be to Bluegreen information.

9000 points will get you a week in a two-bedroom in red season at older Bluegreen resorts, but I'm not sure what size unit 900 points gets you in the newer Bluegreen resorts.
