If this is the Cocoa Beach area (Satellite Beach?), I stayed here a few years ago and really really liked the resort. Small, friendly, large units, floor to ceiling ocean front windows. Very sweet pool area, right on the beach, some planned activities that we actually participated in. Underground parking, great location.

We had a 2 bd and very very comfortable for 4 of us, and we even had an extra friend in the area that came and used the sofa sleeper.

I would go back. Keep in mind that until you enter the unit, it feels like Ma and Pa roadside inn.

Both

We've stayed at both and would not hesitate to return to either. At the Cocoa Beach onr, all units are not oceanfront or oceanview. Not sure if there is some underground parking, but not all. We had a 2 bedroom which was quite large. Not the most modern furniture and appliances, but nice and clean. As I said previously, I'd go back.

We stayed there back in 2011. Really liked it. Nice and quiet. Very clean. A bit dated, but you hardly notice.

We live in the area and drive by it all the time...it looks nice. I love the beaches on that part of the island. They are some of the favored "locals" beaches if that helps :)

Thanks for the replies sounds like a great place to spend our first week next year. I emailed the resort and they told me they only have two 3bedroom units both are oceanfront and on the top floor one on each end of the building. They said the unit is 1759 sq. ft plus balcony. I have never stayed or visited Cocoa Beach but I am sure April will be a great time of year to visit.

It should be a little warmer than the Ottawa Valley ;)

2BR units at Las Olas at Cocoa Beach have a small "den" -- a couple of chairs with a small TV (at least it was small several years ago). Nice touch if you want to watch a ball game while your wife is watching a movie.

Recommend The Original Old Fish House in a strip shopping center on SR 520 just off A1A. Not much for ambiance but really good fish.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering if it was all 2BR's or just select one's. We stayed there maybe 6 or 7 years ago and the one we stayed in had the den. We have a 2BR confirmed for October.

Does anyone know if they take room assignment requests prior to check in?

I heard that there is both pool view and ocean view 2BR's and would like to request a ocean view.
