I don't want to spoil anything but this is a beautifully crafted epic about the Behgazhi mess. It even reveals alot that didn't make the evening news and makes you feel like you are stationed there in a failed state (Libya). I love Hans Zimmer's movie scores and director Michael Bay can do no wrong. Go see this movie...depressing yes...but you will appreciate its heroes and understand the multiple costs of war.

I have heard that the story was not accurate, but that's not unusual for psuedo-documentaries.

Then you must have access to information that is more accurate of what really happened. Please, by all means, share.

Unfortunately the links I posted to news sources at CNN, LATimes, and Forbes seem to have vanished, so your request for information must remain unanswered.

I look forward to seeing the movie but will probably have to wait until April or May when Red Box will have the DVD.

Too bad. Perhaps the "links" provided more accurate information than that provided by the people that were there.

Have you seen the movie?

I want to see this movie. I saw the 3 men who were there interviewed on TV. This is a TRUE story- not BASED on a true story. It is in no way political from what I understand. Just what went on when they were there. No mention of Hillary Clinton. Just one scene with the President. No politics. No judging. In fact, the three guys who were there don;t seem to have any malice whatsoever. There attitude is like- "this is how it is"- "this is how our jobs are".

They say this is an engaging war movie- kind of like Saving Private Ryan was-even if you know nothing about Benghazi. A lot of people never really knew what went on on Normandy beach and Saving Private Ryan changed that. Same with this movie they say.

I look forward to seeing it, even though from what I understand you end up being angry at the end for what happened to our men there.

That, as you will see, is a gross understatement.

You continue to bait, and if I answer it's "politics."

Bait??

Look, you haven't even seen the movie, have you? The defensiveness is so thick here you could cut it with a knife.

Go see the movie, for starters.

Then, you'll see for yourself the movie is NOT political. Perhaps your defense is awkwardly misguided?

It is a TRUE STORY based on the accounts of the people that were there. That statement is FACT, and is not open to debate. Are you able to accept that? The movie allows the viewer to use their own God given brain to arrive at an outcome.

Actually, many sources say the movie misstates facts.

So, then are you saying that the 3 men interviewed on TV and WHO WERE THERE AS IT HAPPENED, are lying?

Right. Why would these 3 survivors lie about the stand down order or anything else that they themselves witnessed and partook in? I believe them as opposed to some corrupt government agencies that have their own agendas and secrets to cover up.

Especially after listening to these patriots on the TV interview. True heroes.

But really, again-no reason to make this political. I know people want to but that is not the point of the movie.

No matter what, it was 13 hours of hell. People died. You can't dispute that. Who's fault was it? Each individual can believe whatever they want to believe.

That's right, you can't handle the truth. I am sure you will challenge any story and instead believe your family members who weren't there?

Look wilma, I can handle the truth. The truth is there are 4 dead American heroes, and the facts speak for themselves. I saw the movie, I know people in the military, and I have a God given brain that allows me to draw my own conclusions from the facts in the matter. I don't need to spend my time Googling steaming piles of reports either.

I haven't seen the movie, and appreciate the comments. As to why would someone lie, isn't there some controversy over who shot Bin Laden?
http://abcnews.go.com/International/killed-osama-bin-laden/story?id=26739447
doesn't mean someone is lying, but there are different versions of the same incident.

I don't see the correlation to the 13 hour movie, nor do I see in the link you posted where it is mentioned that a lie occurred. On the contrary, it states the shooter was keeping his identity a secret.
