Just wondering as chairman club level, can I book my weeks 13 months +1 day or does that only apply when booking with destination points?
Thanks

There is no 13 months +1 day reservation provision that I am aware of. Points or enrolled owners can book 1+ days at the 13 month mark when reserving with DC points.

Since one would be making less than a 7 night reservation, it wouldn't apply to weeks. So there is no allowance to make a 13 month reservation in weeks that is for less than 7 nights.

DC ownership levels do not carry over to weeks reservations. So if you are a Chairman's Club Owner, you can't make a single week reservation at 13 months in weeks. The same requirement exists in weeks as it did before. In order to reserve at 13 months, you need to be making consecutive or concurrent reservations with at least two weeks ownerships.

Thanks but I didn't make myself clear. I would be reserving multiple weeks that run concurrently. Called Mvci and asked the same question but received two different answers. Was told that if I am booking weeks concurrently I can book 13 months plus 1day to reserve. My online chat agent said the opposite. When the time comes I guess I will find out!

Not sure what the +1 days is. It could perhaps be related to a resort that has Thursday checkins. If you reserve that one at the front of your consecutive or concurrent reservation, you are kind of getting a +1 day. However, this has nothing to do with DC Ownership levels.

Example, Grand Vista has Thursday checkins. One could call and reserve on the Monday and reserve their first week for a Saturday checkin and then book the following week at another higher demand resort/time that only has Friday checkins. The normal call in date for resorts with Friday checkins is Tuesday. They beat those that perhaps own two weeks at the same resort trying to make consecutive or concurrent reservations.

Nope. Well, you could, but you would have to call on the release day for points inventory and hope that the weeks are still available that you wanted for the week prior to the points reservation.

You can't tie the two reservation privileges together. They are completely independent.
