Those weren't things I ever worried about. Our kids have a whole new set of things to worry about.

If we only knew

Hard to imagine at the times we were doing these things that soon they would not happen anymore. Imagine what ours parents did and saw that we never did and then think about what the future holds? Makes me dizzy.

I never spent any time "worried" about cultural artifacts.
Inevitably, these get thrown on the scap heap of history.

Kids will worry pretty much about the same stuff we worry about:
-- finding and keeping a job
-- paying the mortgage (or rent)
-- maintaining a relationship or family
-- maintaining a vehicle
-- communicating well (whatever the medium)
-- staying healthy
-- taking advantage of liesure time
-- retiring in comfort

IOW, the mundane, yet important stuff of daily living.

I still make my daughter hand write thank you notes for gifts, etc. I keep waiting for the day that she tells me that all her friends send e-mail or text thank yous ;)

I agree that our kids will have both our old worries, and brand new ones. My daughter is still in elementary school, but I'm not looking forward to the conversations I know we'll eventually have about cyber-bullying, internet safety, and watching out for people putting things in your drink when your back is turned, just to name a few.
