1 in 4 rule Mayan Palace resorts

I know this was probably asked before but I find the language of MP 1-4 rule very confusing but this should be an easy question to answer. We just stayed at the Mayan Place Acapulco RCI number 2984. Does this mean that the 1-4 rule only applies to MPA 2984 and we can trade next year to the Grand Mayan Acapulco which has a different resort number or do we have to wait 4 years to return to any Mayan Palace Acapulco resort?

I know I can go to a different location such as MP cancun, or PV or NV or am also wrong about that and can't go to any Mayan Palace resort for 4 years?

Thanks Keith but that only refers to part 2 of my question which I believe is correct but would like affirmation from Madge which is that I can go to any other location.

My primary question is can I go Back to any other Mayan Palace Acapulco resort with a different RCI number including MPG or another Mayan Palace building with a different RCI number. To pose the question another way is the RCI numer the controlling factor for the 1-4 rule or is it location or perhaps it's changed to the entire MP group?

Does the 1-in-4 rule apply to Mayan owners who use other properties to trade into Mayan resorts? I am a Mayan owner who used an Eagle Trace @ Massanutten week to trade to MPPV for this April. So, can I also use another Eagle Trace week to go to MPPV in 2008 or am I blocked from trading into MPPV until 2010? I know that I can use a MP unit to get there without using RCI, but my question is if I trade through RCI using a non-MP unit.
