I'm sure this has been asked before.
If resorts make the 1-4 rules. Why are RCI points members exempt from this rule? Especially at resorts that aren't a part of RCI points.

Thats the way the points resorts RCI affiliation contracts are written.

What about non points resorts?

This is on my confirmation for Southern California Beach Club. 1379
This is not a points resort.

ONLY 1 CONFIRMATION ALLOWED PER MEMBER ACCOUNT IN 4 YEARS. EXCEPTIONS INCLUDE: GPR OWNERS, POINTS OWNERS, CONSECUTIVE WEEKS & MULTIPLE CONFIRMATION W/SAME START DATE

Can you tell me why points owners are excluded from the 1-4 rule at this resort?

My guess is its because GPR has a points affiliation contract with RCI.
Southern California Beach Club is a Grand Pacific Resort.

Could be , but GPR manages 15 resorts and only one that I am aware of is in RCI points.. and even at that.. It's in a beta test program with RCI points.

CaliDave,

Points resorts don't enforce the one-in-four rule for Points transactions. However, when Points members confirm Weeks exchanges, they are still subject to the one-in-four rule if the resorts enforce it.
