“Timeshare” concept for Collectible Luxury Cars

I just learned about this new concept of buying a portion of usage in collectible cars. It sounds like a timeshare or fractional concept for cars.

This got me to thinking that we are in a sharing economy now. If traditional timeshares like MVC and others could re-position the timeshare concept, timeshares are very well-suited to people’s lifestyles today - as long as you do not use the word “timeshare.”

Some tried that with RVs here in Sanford FL, but it failed. First reason is the tag, it has to be for one owner, and transferring from one to the other can be steep. Then, there is finding enough people to make it work. Then, comes the logistics. Probably the best way would to simply rent the classic cars out for a week, like RVShare.
