TUG Fam,

For those of you on the West Coast who have been ITCHING to visit that HGVC in Italy, I found flights this am via google flights (American, United) for $269!!!! Unreal!!! If I wasn't already headed to Fiji in May (staying at our Worldmark!) I would be allllllllll over this! Just FYI in case this helps anyone plan an amazing vacay :) If so, do let us know!

It depends on your risk tolerance- Coronavirus is getting out of control there so i would not travel right now, now if those fares are refundable, then yes it is a steal.

As of today my employer banned all business travel to many parts of Italy, Personally i would not book a vacation there, no matter how inexpensive the flights. We are planning a trip to Italy for 2021, which is long time off.

We will monitor the situation, and see how things go. Things are changing quickly, and i expect it at some point it will all wind down, probably just as quickly as it blew up.

Me thinks this is out of hand. I would not book travel to Italy until a couple of weeks into May. Corona/flu season will certainly be over by then. I expect late spring or summer travel to Italy is almost certainly less risky than something in next winter’s flu season. Here is to hoping the current episode dies down with summer and doesn’t come back.
