I have been all the places that you mentioned. I am more camping person.

My wife was the one who really wanted to have timeshare ...(and now she is not really interested in anymore.)
.

There are a a lot of male “I’s” in this statement .

...she likes to go Virgin islands, Hawaii or Bahamas ......

feel free to share your opinions or experience with me please.
Thanks
Virgin Islands-Hawaii-Bahamas . / not huge camping vibe , more like a sun & beach feel .

My freely shared opinions & experience -
Happy wife - happy life / 40 year’s of experience this coming October .

Suggestion - learn how Wyndham points can get you vacation time in Hawaii- (or similar beach location) where there are Wyndham resorts .

The great thing about Wyndham is that there are lots of different resort locations - so this could work for both of you - once you learn how to use your point purchase .

We have a trip to Margaritaville in Puerto Rico coming up in late May. We totally look forward to it. But first we're in Orlando (Bonnet Creek resort) and Clearwater the week after next.

BTW if original poster still has those bonus points and the ability to travel this year, check out Wyndham Shearwater in Kauai .. beautiful place perched on the cliffs overlooking the ocean .. whales can be seen from the balcony during whale season. Lots of mountains and hiking available in Kauai as well. A motor rafting trip up the Kauai coast is an unforgettable experience as well .. then go for the hike through those same mountains you've seen from the water.

Thank you, Bob!

For hiking and camping, try Durango and Pagosa Springs. Both Wyndham Resorts are in the heart of hiking and camping country, and those resorts are cheap when it comes to points usage.
