I was double-checking an upcoming reservation we have at Majestic Sun this morning when I saw this note: The resort will undergo roof renovations from Dec. 2-17, 2019. During this time the balconies will be closed to guest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Additionally noise, dust, odors and work crews on-site may be experienced. Dates are subject to change.
Fortunately, we were still outside the 15 day window and I changed our reservation to Emerald Grande. I’ve been checking the reservation every day to see if we had gotten an upgrade. Today is the first day I have seen the note about the roofing work. My family and I go to the beach to enjoy the beach. We insist on oceanfront views. While Majestic Sun is across the street and only has partial ocean views, it is much cheaper points-wise than Emerald Grande so that is where we usually stay. However, not being able to use the balcony during the middle of the day and all the noise and dust that goes along with re-roofing, it would be difficult to enjoy time in the condo. I’m glad I saw the note and was able to change the reservation.
