I am aware that all the studios at the Southern California Beach Club are all oceanfront. I also know that Wyndham Harbour Lights in San Diego is practically an all-studio resort, which is very nice in the Gaslamp District.

Are there any other non-lock-off studios that are worth staying at on the West Coast?

Thank you.

Worldmark Canmore isn't coastal, being near Banff, but it has nice studios. They're over 500 square feet.

I wasn't going to mention it because it doesn't fit the requirements asked for, but the studios there are easily the best value rooms in the resort. I would prefer a studio to a one bedroom straight up, as they're basically the same size. However, more of the studios have fireplaces, and they're cheaper...
