Great thanks for this! I will keep an eye on the bidding.
As a relative newbie here that has yet to pull the trigger on my timeshare but getting closer, is there anything with this particular listing that any of the experts here would highlight?
I see this floats 1-52 but the underlying deeded week is actually 24. First use in 2020.
Any concerns here for someone who is likely to use this as a trader through II?
My original focus had been to pick up a True Plat in case I end up retro'ing in the future, but the more I learn and the more the market evolves it really doesn't seem like it is worthwhile for my particular use case.
Thanks in advance!

Yes, it looks above board.

I wonder why/how it's changed so much. They're nowhere close to free now.
Keep your eyes peeled.

I helped a friend get one for $500 including closing, but it included 2021 usage. The week showed up in his account, and the 2021 units have been deposited to interval.

I helped another friend go under contract on a free week, he'll just need to pay transfer fees.

I'll keep my eyes peeled, but I wear glasses. :) Keep me in mind.

Not only are they not free anymore, I have had a hard time finding a 2BR SDO for sale. There used to be lots of them. Right now there are none in the TUG Marketplace, for example. I've been told that the scarcity is because Vistana was aggressively pushing their buy back program. People found it easier to give their units back to Vistana rather than selling on the open market. If anyone knows where to find some for sale, please let me know!

The same seems to be true for Sheraton Vistana Villages mandatory weeks. Aggressive buybacks and a couple years ago Vistana was doing trade ins to "upgrade" into SHeraton Flex. I suspect a lot of these weeks were traded in.

Immediately Pre-covid there were plenty of 1 bedrooms and some 2 bedrooms available. I followed lots of EBay auctions with sales in the past year. Keep your eyes peeled and watch EBay. I have 3 SDO 1 bedroom units. Great traders.
