Villa Group Gold Card Question

Ok,

I searched the forum and couldn't find a direct answer to my question. Some of you VPA and Gold Villa veterans might know the answer.

On UVCI website for every resort link under the Club Information tab it has a link to Membership 101: https://user-qcoszg.cld.bz/Membership-101

That is the link.

In the slide show, page 14 makes me believe that being me being a Gold or VPA member I should get a Gold Card every time I go to a resort and that additional benefits exist if I go to a member presentation. However, in the few great years I have been a member; every resort I visit requires me to attend the presentation prior to getting the Gold Card.

To my question: Other Gold and VPA members, do you get a Gold Card upon check in? Or is there a disconnect between what the UVCI site says and what is actually practiced?

How it works is a member is invited to an owners update which is a presentation. Premiere members are offered the gold discount card. Gold and VPA members already get the discounts because these are included in their membership. Gold and VPA members can receive additional discounts on other things but really I think there are no other things unless you ask and get it in writing. My friends wife always gets spa time and massages if they do the presentation.

I rarely attend these anymore but did attend one in Loreto. They gave me an extra night in my one bedroom unit and the discount card.

I've always gotten the Gold Card at check-in without regard to attending an update presentation as both a gold and VPA member.
