My nephew is travelling to Vietnam in a few weeks and needs to get a visa online but there are so many I was hoping someone could direct me to a genuine one?

Is the nephew a U.S. citizen, or a European? That would have some bearing on acquiring a visa. You should apply directly to the (Vietnam) consulate in the country the nephew is a citizen of.

If he travels on an Irish passport, he will need to find out if (and where) Vietnam's consul to Ireland (or possibly EU?) is, and get visa information from them. Perhaps there are 'visa services' that could help him. I think Google is your friend here. Sorry I can't be more specific.

We have used Vietnam-visa.com on each of our visits to Vietnam. Their website also has a section in the bottom right, where you can pose questions. We are Canadian, so I don't know if this site does other visa applications as well. The on-line agents were very helpful in answering questions.

Hope this helps.
