Vidanta RM taxi driver

When we were in RM at Barcelo last fall we had the cutest taxi driver that we were able to use all week. By the end we were friends with Lupita and even had her join us at Chichen Itza. We are hoping to be able to use her again in October at Vidanta, but I wondered if there are only certain authorized taxis that can come into the property?

Call or email her and ask her what the policy is. Some are assigned to specific areas / resorts. We have one in Acapulco that picks us up at the airport, takes us to the grocery and then to the MP or GM. He has also picked us up and taken us to restaurants and brought us back - but RM & NV are probably a different story. These two are not right along the main streets with no guards taking names when you come to the gate.

Thank you. If we do get dropped off outside the gate how far a walk is it to the main resort area? We are staying at Grand Bliss.

Any taxi driver can always take you into the resort. This issue is coming in to pick you up. You can walk out to the road and catch your taxi along the road. You have to walk out the road along the golf course to get to the gate.
