The Beach Club at St. Augustine Beach, FL (1 floating week, purchased in 1982)
77,000 RCI points (Sunrise Ridge Resort, TN)
We bought (resale) points associated with Sunrise Ridge, TN in the Vacation Village system quite a few years ago. We get 77K points EOY and used them to stay anywhere from 3 To 5 weeks at various RCI properties. We tend to book 10 day stays at a time (for 1 exchange fee) when RCI has a sale on for the bulk of our points. We like having a separate RCI tel # to call to book a VV property stay and I believe we also pay a slightly reduced exchange fee booking through them. Our points package also came with a bonus week every year where we can stay at a VV property for just the VV exchange fee, no points needed. It is similar to the RCI Last Call in that it must be booked 45 days or less from check-in & is limited to availability. Since we tend to travel in non-peak season, and don't need a Gold Crown designation, we have not had any trouble finding a suitable place.

How many points are you allotted each year? What are your yearly maintenance fees? Will you pay transfer fees?

So far I am happy with them. I just sent recorded deed in for another last week Monday, this week Monday transfer completed showing me as owner, now just waiting on RCI.
But if looking for RCI Points package take MF/Points to get your cost per point for that contract, these can vary significantly. Grandview 122K points are best ratio and 98K are second best I have seen, then VV at Parkway 92.5k is next best. One disadvantage to VV at Parkway you can’t use for trade into DVC resorts, based on DVC rules. 122K Grandview’s are expensive they typically cost $2500 more than a 98K one means it would take well over 10 years for you to break even buying 122K vs 98K GV.
98K GV vs 92.5K VV at Pwy. Pwy is $.00155 more per point. Not a deal breaker but currently you will pay $100 more in MF’s for 5.5K less points per year.
What can you get with 5.5K Points let’s pull an example from Orlando and Vegas. These are just random.

Here is a 2Bdr at Peace Canyon in Vegas
