this came up as available but I am unsure. Lots of stairs, older, and across the street from a public beach. Anyone stayed there.

Yes, several times. Can't beat the location -- trades in that area are few and far between.

A 1-block shaded stroll to the beach... not much traffic... can't beat it.
Stairs: 1 flight to the landing + 1 to the quarters, but easy enuff.
It's a low-key & quiet place. If I found a trade, I'd be there in a minute.

Last year, did my knee in at club regency climbing two flights of stairs, and no view of beach at all. Dragging my chair and umbrella to the beach when practically lame was bad. I decided I would wait and see if something else came up. When I got home last year, knee was so bad I had to use a walker until my knee surgery.
We live two hours south of Holmes beach, so we do have access to gulf beaches.

No garage under and bedrooms on top floor. I still have a little trouble on stairs. I will wait to see if something else comes up

Living close by might lower it's appeal. I was thinking of an out of state person coming to visit. Although I do remember meeting some owners

who had traveled from home in Orlando while we were there.

It was the cement stairs at club regency that really did me in and the fact that the second floor units were really third floor

It may seem strange, but we find the Sarasota area cool in December, at least for the beach. But if I lived in Orlando, I would grab beach vacations, we are around ten miles by Road, four as the crow flies from the beaches in fort Myers and Bonita beach

I think this is near a surf store, someone we knew retired to Anna Marie island and their daughter owned the store there for years. Last year she said she was trying to sell it.

My family stayed there Dec 2015. So it's been a while. My husband, brother, and I stayed there along with an 18 year old girl. The only one who had no problems with the stairs was our teen. We liked the location, which is very convenient to most everything we wanted. Being across the street from the beach was no problem-- quiet, narrow road, and the beach is wide and magnificent.
But, we won't stay there again just because of all the steps. You park on the ground floor, go up steps to two bedrooms, and then up more steps to get to the living room/dining room and kitchen.
