A coworker just came back from Vegas and purchased a TS from TLC Resorts? I have never heard of it and could't find any info on here. Anyone know anything about TLC? If so what kind of TS is it? They get 6 wks per year and a MF of 300/600 per year. Paid 7000.00 seems like a lot to me. Thanks

You are correct. I just found the website for TLC Resorts Vacation Club. How do they differ from a TS. Other than you don't own anything?

That's exactly how they differ. You don't own anything. Your friend would be better served to use RCI to buy Last Call or Extra Vacations

Another important way they differ is that there may be a very specific (and very limited) number of resorts at which reservations can be made --- and the available inventory at those limited number of resorts could also be very limited.

Last but not least, "vacation clubs" can (and do) sometimes just suddenly disappear into thin air, along with any and all paid "memberships" and any and all future reservation options or opportunities for those paid "members" left holding the bag.

I do not claim to know anything whatsoever about "TLC Resorts" or their reliability or solvency, but I fail to comprehend (or believe for one moment) how $300-$600 dollars per year in fees could possibly provide 6 weeks of vacation anywhere.
I would definitely file that particular assertion in the category of "too good to be true". :ponder:
