There are a number of companies selling this nonsense. Or perhaps it's one company that changes its name as often as necessary.
They all work approximately the same way. Convince you that your timeshare is an albatross that you don't want and they will buy from you. Sell you a vacation club membership that is worth, at most, a few hundred bucks, based on comparable offers on eBay and at various travel outlets. Yet somehow, you wind up spending upwards of $4,000 for them to "buy" your timeshare from you!
