We are back from 3 weeks in New Zealand (North Island). Last year we found 3 different timeshare resorts in 3 different areas with Interval Getaways and we were able to book them back to back to back. We had one week at the Grand Mercure Puka Park Resort (studio unit) Pauanui Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula, one week at Club Paihia (one bedroom) on the Bay of Islands and one week at the Fairway Lodge Mt. Maunganui (2 bedroom) near Tauranga. We stayed one night at a hotel in Raglan on the West coast also. We had a great time doing day trips in each area and we met a lot of nice people. We saw beautiful beaches, rainforests, waterfalls and more. We did a lot of hiking and my husband was able to kitesurf 4 or 5 days while we were there.

We averaged about $80 a night for the 3 weeks of Getaway accommodations. All the resorts were nice. Next time we will do the South Island in a small motorhome.

Cheers and Happy Travels!
